Outline

An overview of the Standard and Testing Agency updates and materials for Year 6 teachers and a chance to moderate writing.

Description

Find out about the statutory requirements for the end of key stage 2 assessment 2018-19 including new arrangements for children working below the national curriculum assessment standard. Discuss your children's writing with colleagues from across the city.

Please ensure teachers bring their copy of these STA documents: KS2 TA framework 2018-19 onward; KS2 Assessment and Reporting Arrangements; KS2 pre-key stage assessment framework and KS2 exemplifications together with a sample of children's writing.

Outcomes

Teachers understand assessment requirements for 2018-19 and have started to relate these to their current class.
