This conference is part of the citywide strategy for improving outcomes for disadvantaged pupils.
Outcomes for disadvantaged pupils are a major priority across the city with all schools developing strategies for reducing this gap in attainment in progress. This conference will give NQTs the opportunity to explore strategies by hearing from experienced practitioners and sharing classroom practice, as well as how to contribute to the development of whole school approaches. Delegates will be asked to bring their class data to the event, so this can be explored. An email will be sent about this approximately a week before the event.

By the end of the session NQTs will be able to identify appropriate strategies for improving outcomes for disadvantaged pupils in their own classes.
