The inclusive classroom: meeting the needs of ALL your pupils

Outline

This is a three-part programme and delegates are expected to attend all sessions

The aim of these sessions is to ensure that NQTs have the skills and confidence to teach positive behaviour, ensuring that their pupils learn within a positive classroom climate with high expectations.

Description

Course activities include:
Reflection on common classroom behaviours
Sharing experiences and best practice
Strategies to try with your class
Information, advice and guidance to support you in school
Tasks to carry out between the sessions

Outcomes

To understand the importance and effect of positive behaviour management strategies
To identify common management mistakes
To be aware of approaches more likely to be successful
To have time to reflect on individual practice
