The School Data Service works closely with colleagues across children’s services and the council, to help identify the needs and requirements of children and young people in our city for the services and schools that support them.
This service is available to maintained schools, academies, free schools, multi-academy trusts and independent schools.
The current cost of this service is shared between schools and the local authority:
- 60% central funding
- 40% from a schools’ charge, based on pupil numbers
- Additional ad-hoc services are charged on a daily rate
