Energy & Water bills make up a major part of the running costs of school buildings, so it is important to ensure your approach to energy management is efficient and sustainable. Our energy and water management service saves you time and money by securing competitive energy contracts and managing these contracts with suppliers; checking and paying your bills and providing you advice on energy and water management.
We are always looking at how we can improve our service and are currently working with East Sussex and Surrey County Councils on future joint procurements which will give us even greater leverage in achieving better prices for energy and options for service enhancements. For example we have just completed a joint procurement for water supply and have secured a further reduction in management fees.
This service is aimed at business managers and bursars at schools of all levels whether maintained by the authority or an academy.
Prices are determined on a site by site basis, including the following elements:
- An annual management fee covering the cost of providing all of the services outlined in ‘key deliverables’
- The cost of providing your Display Energy Certificate (if relevant)
- Annual third party data collection charges for your Automated Meter Reading (if relevant)
